Description

"Classical" music and classical music practice form the basis of German conservatoire education. But how and where exactly what is played, for whom and above all why, is subject to fashions and trends; all of this is constantly being questioned, tried out, discussed and evaluated. In the course of this lecture series, international lecturers will present current music research on topics such as improvisation, diversity, audience research, participation and artistic citizenship and discuss their ideas with musicians and students.
