SemesterTicket - Germany semester ticket

All students who are enrolled at the HfMT and pay the full semester contribution including the SemesterTicket share will receive their SemesterTicket as a Germany semester ticket via download from the HVV.

Distance learning students, participants in certificate programs and young students do not receive a SemesterTicket and are not eligible for the Deutschlandsemesterticket. Teacher training students (school music and theater) will receive their SemesterTicket from Universität Hamburg.

The semester documents, which you will receive by post in mid-September or mid-March, also include a student ID card, the semester and enrollment certificates and the BAfÖG certificate.

If you are abroad or cannot use your SemesterTicket for other reasons, you can apply to the Studierendenwerk hamburg for a refund of the SemesterTicket portion.
