About Konstantin Egensperger
Konstantin Egensperger was born in Münster in 2005. He started playing the piano at the age of 5 and then began playing the cello at the age of 6. A few years later, he also discovered his love of composing. In 2019, he began his junior studies in Munich for piano with Prof. Markus Bellheim and for composition with Prof. Moritz Eggert. Since 2024 he has been studying piano at the HfMT Hamburg with Prof. Aleksandar Madzar. He has won prizes at the Munich Piano Podium, Steinway Piano Competition, Schumann Competition, Jugend Komponiert etc. He has attended master classes with Simon and Ludmila Gourari, Herbert Schuch, Alfredo Perl, Sheila Arnold, Markus Bellheim, Anna Gourari, Jakob Katsnelson and Mikhail Lidsky, among others. Concert tours have taken him throughout Germany as well as to Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Italy and Portugal.
About Roko Matijević
Roko Matijević was born on June 22, 2002 in Zagreb, where he began his musical education at the age of seven in the piano class of Prof. Nenad Kačar at the Zlatko Baloković Music School in Zagreb. At the age of ten, he began participating in international competitions, where he achieved remarkable results. In the course of his education, he won over 40 first and special prizes, several times as the absolute winner of the competition, at state and international competitions throughout Europe and the USA. He has performed in some of the most prestigious halls in the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Parco della Musica in Rome, the Rachmaninov Hall in Moscow, the Musikverein in Vienna, the Berlin Philharmonie, the Royal Albert Hall in London and the Vatroslav Lisinski Hall in Zagreb. From the 2019/2020 school year, he will be a student of Professor Ivanka Kordić at the Vatroslav Lisinski Music School, where he will complete his high school education. From October 2021, he will study with Prof. Aleksander Madžar at the University of Music and Drama in Hamburg. During his studies he worked with renowned Croatian and foreign piano teachers: K. Bogino (Russia, France), K. Krasnitsky (Belarus), Đ. Stanetti (Croatia), N. Patarčec (France), M. Kandelaki (Russia), R. Dalibaltayan (Croatia), S. Čaldarović (Croatia) and J. Zlatar (Croatia).
