The time has come: the University of Music and Drama is opening CAMPUS BARMBEK. This weekend you can get to know the premises of the building: stages, rehearsal stages, opera studio and seminar rooms. The Theater Academy and the Institute for Culture and Media Management invite you to many small, free events. Our neighbor, the Junges Schauspielhaus, also offers a look behind the scenes.
With the opening of a second campus of the University of Music and Drama, an 8-year dream has come true. All theater-related courses and the Institute for Culture and Media Management have a new home together in the former Heidenreich & Harbeck machine tool factory.
We would particularly like to draw your attention to ECHOS DER ARBEIT - 4 projects on the history of the building. On the occasion of the opening, a group of directing students researched the history of the building with the support of the Geschichtswerkstatt Barmbek.
