"MUSIC MAKES YOU HUMAN AGAIN"

In a moving short documentary, we show you excerpts and testimonials from the "interactive concerts against social isolation." Right at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic and during the first lockdown, the HfMT Career Center came up with this idea: young musicians without performance opportunities and lonely senior citizens connect through music and conversation, giving each other support and strength.
A simple concept with a big impact that invites imitation. Made possible by the federal-state initiative "Innovative University".
MOVING SOUND PICTURES
Moving Sound Pictures - VR Project
"What would it be like if I were the woman screaming in Munch's famous painting or walking through van Gogh's landscapes?"
The initiator and project manager of Moving Sound Pictures, Konstantina Orlandatou, has long been itching to break open the frame and the static nature of a two-dimensional painting and transfer her beloved pictures by modern painters into a third or even fourth dimension by adding the aspects of time and space to them.
As a multimedia artist, she has added music and playful actions to the artworks. Following her interpretation, she creates a virtual, interactive world where shapes and colors resound in a unified experience. Moving Sound Pictures is a highly complex art project in which visitors themselves become artistic explorers in three-dimensional space with the help of VR (virtual reality) glasses.
In the coming year, we will be exhibiting the project in our foyer from time to time for visitors to take part in. You can currently follow all the ideas and current developments under Transfer Projects on our homepage. The project is being funded and further developed as part of the federal-state initiative "Innovative University".
360 ° SESSIONS
Jazz quartet "Bluff"
We would be lost without them. Our webcast team has done a great job over the last few months. They have facilitated contacts and created publicity. They were the eye of our needle to the outside world. Thanks to them, students were able to show themselves: despite the pandemic!
Now they have expanded their repertoire with a modern twist: two initial 360° sessions have already been placed in our media library. More will follow. You can admire the bassists of the HfMT and the jazz quartet "Bluff" with control options in all directions and without the slightest distance. Only flying is more beautiful...
