CESSATION OF PERFORMANCES UNTIL APRIL 30

Due to the worsening pandemic situation, we have canceled all events with immediate effect until probably April 30 and are thus following the general decree of the health authorities of March 15, 2020.

Tickets that have already been purchased can be refunded (after deduction of the advance booking fee) at the respective advance booking office.

It is still uncertain when we will be able to resume event operations. We have set up a menu item on our website where we will keep you up to date with the latest developments: FAQ Corona-Virus

The start of the semester has also had to be postponed. Our building is expected to remain largely closed until April 20 and almost all employees will be working from home. In the meantime, please direct any questions regarding event operations to [veranstaltungen@hfmt-hamburg.de](mailto:veranstaltungen@hfmt-hamburg.de). In addition, the gate of the house will be manned for emergency operations and can be reached at 040-428 482 200.

The current situation means a deep cut in the life of our university. Without the possibility of practicing, rehearsing and performing together, a large part of our work will come to a standstill, with consequences for our students that can hardly be estimated. Nevertheless, it is unquestionably our responsibility to act in solidarity and fulfill our duty of care.

We look forward to the time when we can meet again without worries and experience cultural events together!
