Chia-Yang Hsu from Stepan Simonian's HfMT piano class won the second prize of 8,000 euros at the 11th International FRANZ LISZT Piano Competition in Weimar.

Born in Taiwan, Chia-Yang Hsu was accepted into Prof. Stepan Simonian's class at the Hamburg University of Music and Drama at the age of 16 after his initial piano training in his home country, where he completed his master's degree and is currently studying for his concert exam.
