On Wednesday, January 22, Antonio Di Dedda's inaugural concert as Professor of Organ at the Hamburg University of Music and Drama (HfMT) took place in the main church of St. Michaelis.

In his concert, he played a varied program on the organs of the "Michel" with works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Robert Schumann, Johannes Brahms, Sofia Gubaidulina, Jeanne Demessieux and Cesar Franck.

Antonio Di Dedda added: "At the concert, I was very touched by the presence of so many dear people who were brought together by this evening. I am happy when I can reach people through this wonderful music. As a relatively new professor at the HfMT, I've had a very rich year full of good music and wonderful encounters, a year in which I've learned a great deal. The HfMT has become a second home for me."
